OTRS::SphinxSearch
FreeA Perl module that integrates the Sphinx search engine as a high-performance backend for OTRS ticket searching.
OTRS::SphinxSearch is a backend extension for OTRS that offloads ticket searching from the relational database to the Sphinx search engine. This significantly improves search performance, especially in large installations with hundreds of thousands of tickets. It supports full-text search and provides a more scalable search infrastructure than the default SQL-based approach. Note: Installation is performed as a Perl module and requires manual modifications to OTRS controller files (e.g., AgentTicketSearch.pm) and a configured Sphinx server.
