zammad-asterisk is a middleware written in Go that acts as a bridge between an Asterisk PBX and the Zammad helpdesk. The tool utilizes the Asterisk REST Interface (ARI) to track the status of phone calls and forwards this information to Zammad's generic CTI (Computer Telephony Integration) interface. This enables features such as automatic caller ID lookups and the display of incoming call notifications directly within the agent's browser. Configuration is handled via a simple config file containing ARI credentials and the Zammad API token. Please note that the project has been marked as unmaintained by the original developer (Digineo), as they no longer use Zammad themselves.
