TUILM-ResetTicketStateOnMerge
FreeOTRS extension to automatically set a custom ticket state for source tickets after a merge operation.
By default, OTRS sets the state of a merged ticket to the hardcoded value "merged". This extension by Martin Edenhofer (TUILM) provides the flexibility to automatically change this state to another value defined in the SysConfig. This is particularly useful for organizations that require specific closure states (e.g., "closed successful") for merged tickets to maintain consistency in reporting or process control.
