App::OTRS::CreateTicket is a Perl-based command-line utility (CLI) that allows users to create tickets in OTRS, Znuny, or OTOBO directly from the terminal or via scripts. It interacts with the system's Generic Interface using either SOAP or REST protocols. This tool is ideal for system administrators who need to integrate external alerts (e.g., from monitoring tools like Nagios, Icinga, or Zabbix) into their ticketing workflow without the overhead of developing a custom API client. It supports setting standard ticket attributes such as Queue, State, and Priority, as well as adding file attachments and populating Dynamic Fields.
